God's Marble is an intriguing psychological
science fiction study of one man's haunting
dilemma which will have you following Tom
Anderson to either ultimate salvation or
In a bleak near future world, there
exists a beragged disassociated group
of people surviving on the outskirts of
Palm Springs, California. The food and
water supply is dwindling, crops refuse
to grow and the only convenience is the
power supplied by the constant
spinning of the wind generators.
The besieged leader of this camp is one
Tom Anderson, a weary and frustrated
man. His depression grows daily as he
is reduced to trying to find either
survivors of the disaster or possibly
even a way out of his trap.
Aiding Tom is Mike, who seems to be more
of a hindrance and irritant to Tom rather
than an asset. One who never seems to
follow through with anything.
Time passes as Tom spirals down a hole
of misery and pills while he plays back
videos of his wife, Rachel, painfully
reminding him of happier times.
A radio broadcast is intercepted from
Gregory Strumman, a beacon of hope and
a possibility of escape for Tom. We then
discover the terrible fate of the world by
the element dubbed God's Marble and
who may have been responsible for
releasing the parasitic element that has
mutated the planet.
